Political education for young people
This toolkit was developed in the project “Aware and Active,” which aimed to prevent violent radicalization among young people and promote democratic values. The aim was to sensitize young people to human rights, intercultural understanding and active citizenship. Their critical thinking and media skills were also to be improved by the project.
About the Toolkit
The toolkit was created for the trainings and Ideas Labs in the project. It contains many concrete activities to interactively address the issues of active citizenship, media literacy and critical thinking with young people. It also presents methods for developing small projects together with young people in order to anchor these topics more firmly in the social consciousness.
