The IZ is committed to safeguarding the personal rights and dignity of children, adolescents and adults and to always treat them with care and respect.
Especially in training settings, in projects with volunteers, young people or disadvantaged target groups, the IC, together with its employees, trainers and partners, makes every effort to create a safe environment for the participants and to prevent all forms of abuse and discrimination.
For this purpose the IZ has developed guidelines for the protection of children, young people and adults, which serve as a basis for the work with different target groups and partners. A working group within the IZ is concerned with the implementation and further development of the guidelines.
